My goal with the hashtag is to remind everyone that fitness not a short term goal. It’s something that you work your ass off to achieve but it doesn’t stop there.
“to keep pushing the boundaries of what your body can do, of what you look like, to be proud but never satisfied, and to find the best version of yourself”
This is what the hashtag means, and I’ve based this whole blog based on that ideal. So here it is, my new project. I decided that I needed a way to share information I’m passionate about, I needed something more than just a post on instagram. So what am I actually going to be posting here?
You can expect a lot of typos, corny jokes, good ass form on exercises, my personal workouts, fitness tips, motivational posts, productivity hacks, nutrition tips, things that will hopefully make your life a little easier, and things that have helped me and my clients on our fitness journey.
For now the plan is to post every Friday at 12 pm EST, but I may add random posts throughout the week. If you have any suggestions or need help with any area of your fitness journey, you’re welcome to leave a comment and I’ll try my best to help out.
Now, a little more about myself:
I’m a college graduate with a Bachelors in Business Management & Administration from Mercy College. I fell in love with pushing my own body & others to it’s physical limits, so the fitness aspect of my life forced me to make my career around what I do best. I help individuals reach their highest potential, I’m an NYC based Certified Personal Trainer. I get immense gratification when I see someone push past their own physical limits and breaking through a mental sticking points. I think that physical training, if done right can offer individuals a new perspective on life. It’s not just about getting in better shape, but about pushing the limits of your current self over and over until you become the best version of yourself. I have made it my goal to be the best instructor I can to hopefully make a change in someone else’s life. I’m constantly trying to improve my own knowledge and become well rounded in all fields of fitness: strength, mobility, flexibility, nutrition, performance, and longevity.
Below are some of the certifications I have acquired over time to hopefully be better prepared to impact someone’s life:
Certified Personal Trainer – NASM
CPR / AED – American Red Cross
KettleBell Course – StrongFirst
Flexible Steel Instructor
Pre/ Post Natal Certification – Annette Lang
